For those not in the know: a WoWS code is a special combination of letters and numbers that, after activation, drops goodies straight into your Port. • Invite codes – work only on new accounts;

Careful: not every code works for your region or platform. Servers are separated – EU, NA, ASIA, and mobile, Xbox, and PlayStation don’t support promo code activation at all. Only for PC – doesn’t matter if it’s Windows or macOS.

Personal experience: newbies benefit more from grabbing fresh invite codes – starter bonuses there are really top-tier, they speed up progression from scratch. For experienced old-timers, bonus codes with premium time or super-camouflages are more beneficial. Time-tested: the best path to fun is combining both formats if you have the opportunity!

Current World of Warships invite codes

Just decided to start in WoWS? Grab an invite code or invite link (they’re scattered here and further down), and they’ll immediately shower you with goodies. Main thing: you can use it once per account, and only at the moment of registration or within the first week. And yes, after activation you’ll have to wait a bit – sometimes up to 24 hours until the rewards arrive in your account.

The differences between promos are obvious: for newcomers usually premium ships, port slots, economic boosters drop – literally gives a solid boost right from the first battle. Game creators aren’t stingy at all, as long as people keep joining. Plus now any newcomer instantly jumps to access level 10+ – no boring grinding, you can immediately fight in randoms, manage commanders, catch containers, and use the fattest economic bonuses.

1. Go to the new account registration page;
2. Fill in your details and click “Have an invite code?”;
3. Paste the appropriate code;
4. Agree to the terms, click CONTINUE;
5. Wait for the email from Wargaming – confirm registration via the link;
6. Download the game and go forth, sail the seas and farm freebies right from the start!

Feature for those who forgot they already had an account: left WoWS for more than 90 days? You can return via invite code, grab free rewards and get even more if you complete 25 battles on ships of tier IV and above. Recovery works – checked it personally, nice bonus for “oldies on vacation”.

My top pick: I look for codes that give something really useful – for example, a decent premium ship (Texas, Orlan, Twelfth Little Pig…), plus economic bonuses for a week ahead. Would like fewer regional restrictions, but life isn’t sugar – they impose limitations, and it’s annoying. Especially when you see a good promo on the forum but it’s not for your server. If only they’d remove regional binding!

Invite links for new players

Invite links are an absolutely top way to grab a starter pack if you don’t have an account yet. You click such a link – and the promo code is already built into the registration form. No manual pasting, just “activate”, start registration and that’s it. Important: after clicking the link don’t go anywhere, don’t close the page, otherwise the rewards will fly off to who knows where.

The system is simple: the system leads to the official WoWS website, the code is already entered (or an “ACCEPT INVITATION” button appears), after which you fill everything out according to the list. If you’re a returner, choose “I already have a Wargaming account” and link your old account – but note, this doesn’t work with all promos (some are strictly for newbies).

Server division:

• EU – Europe and adjacent countries;
• NA – USA, Canada, Mexico and surroundings;
• ASIA – Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Southeast Asia;

In short, no matter which country you’re from, you can choose any server – especially relevant for those who want to level up comfortably.

Steam version: the main thing – don’t try to register through an invite link right away. First log into WoWS through Steam once, only then open the link from a friend (only from the same region). After 15 battles – the opportunity is lost, so don’t delay!

I’m mastering this system and see mega-convenience: finally no more boring manual codes and repetitions. If only they’d make notifications right in the client, it would be completely awesome. The downside – you have to keep the browser open until the very end. I’ve had fails – got distracted, accidentally closed it and get nothing instead of the starter pack…

Bonus codes for all players

For experienced brothers and just active players – bonus codes. They don’t require a new account, give various goodies: doubloons, credits, premium time, signals, sometimes – awesome premium ships and camouflages. Most promo codes for “veteran” accounts are aimed at cosmetic items or wonderful economic bonuses, but sometimes you catch fat containers too.

Seekers often run into such rewards:

• free doubloons;
• 1-7 days of premium time;
• credits, camouflages;
• signal flags and even rare premium equipment;

Fans discuss that some codes drop random containers with cool rewards.

Here are typical examples of active bonus codes and their loot:

• Codes for containers with economic bonuses;
• Codes for awesome upgrades for ships;
• Codes for special camouflages/flags – pure bliss for collectors;
• Codes for a day or two of Premium Account;

All this is pure freebies, the main thing is not to miss regional restrictions – CIS codes won’t work on EU and vice versa.

1. Go to Premium Shop, in the upper right corner find the “Redeem Wargaming code” button;
2. Enter your code in the field that appears;
3. Click “REDEEM CODE” – the loot is yours!

Alternative: in Wargaming Game Center click your nickname in the upper left corner – then “ACTIVATE WARGAMING CODE”, enter the key, click. That’s it, no problems.

By the way, for each attempt to use the same key you can only get one reward – after that there’ll be an error. Immediately check that the code isn’t expired and works for your platform!

My favorite: codes for containers and Premium Account days are most valued – perfect for solo farming or leveling a new line. For collectors – hunting unique flags and camouflages. I recommend checking new codes at least once every couple of days – sometimes a fresh promo pops up literally for a couple of hours!

How to get World of Warships codes

Catching an active code is not a task for the bored! Giveaways don’t happen on schedule, most often tied to special dates, partnership campaigns, project birthdays. Real reasons to check out WoWS:

• Buying products with Wargaming branding from official partners – always check if there’s an invite/bonus code there;
• Participating in event giveaways – including through magazines, payment systems, partner merch;
• Attending exhibitions or meetings with the development team – they often give out regional extra codes there;
• Twitch and YouTube streams, as well as special events on social media – they now drop codes in live streams;

The best codes appear first thanks to “info front fighters” – fans, YouTubers, and just grinders leak all fresh combinations almost immediately, often literally within minutes of release. Don’t be lazy to check such movements!

IMPORTANT! Wargaming and their representatives NEVER sell invite and bonus codes. Any seller in DMs is a guaranteed scammer, or just a trust scam. Lost money on “freebies” – they won’t sympathize, don’t expect support.

Personal choice – I love codes obtained from major streams and events: higher drop probability, and chance of hitting a fake is practically zero. It’s better to collect guides for fresh promos in a separate folder. Tip – bookmark this page and check regularly, I add current ones as they arrive!

Code activation problems

The code system is a contradictory thing. Sometimes you enter a code – no loot. There are tons of options: expired, wrong region, typos in symbols. First: always double-check not only the code itself, but also the regional server (pretty stupid restriction, I don’t argue). If it doesn’t work after 3-4 attempts – check official news: maybe the promo was already blocked or expired. As a last resort – WoWS support will sort it out.

Important to remember:

• Enter the code exactly as written – even with spaces and special characters;
• Unless stated otherwise – one code per account;
• Every code has an expiration date (from a couple of hours to weeks, events are maximally short!);

Static promos from forums quickly get maxed out by limit – act fast.

If you grabbed an item with a code and you already have it, there’ll be compensation, most often – credits/doubloons, but sometimes you get nothing at all. The specifics always vary – Wargaming is quite the mystery in this regard.

Expiration dates are really a lottery. Some promos live for an hour, others drag on for weeks. Event and promotional codes are short-lived, don’t delay! I’ve had fails: saw a top promo for a reward, delayed half a day – and the limit was already “eaten up”. The system is generally not bad, but if the client showed expiring codes in advance or displayed the limit – there’d be fewer curses and swearing 🙂
